The South of Harris from Berneray

Harris is the southern (and most beautiful) part of the Long Island, which also contains Lewis. The interior of Lewis is mainly peat covered, while Harris has some majestic mountains, and South Harris must be about 60% rock exposure, with some of the most beautiful and intriguing rocks you're likely to see anywhere. The Lewisian Gneisses are about 3 600 million years old and are among the oldest rocks in the world.
